Culcairn Golf Club
Culcairn is a 12-hole (white) sandgreen course and we are continually trying to improve it. It is a very pretty course with the Billabong Creek on the southern side of the course. Golfers can play 18 holes by playing some of the holes a second time, some holes have a different tee, or a partly different fairway, to make up the 18 holes. Our latest improvements are the establishment of grass verges around six of our sand greens. These are watered by spray irrigation of the town’s recycled water, installed after receiving grants to help the club to fund these improvements. With some support we are planning more improvement in the near future. The course is a picture during the winter which is our main golfing season commencing in March and through to November.
