Batlow it’s more than apples

51 players from across the region took to the fairways at the Batlow Golf Course for the Club’s annual tournament. Competitors from Tumut, Culcairn, Thurgoona, Corryong, and everywhere in between enjoyed a cool, overcast day on a beautifully maintained course, thanks to the tireless efforts of the club’s volunteers in the weeks leading up to the event.
After the games wrapped up, players were treated to a fantastic meal, lovingly prepared by players’ partners and served by the wonderful ladies in the kitchen. Special recognition was also given to Marilyn, Jean, and Connie, who, after years of preparing and serving meals, are retiring their aprons. Each was presented with a gift as a token of appreciation for their dedicated service.
